Working groups

The network drives collaboration through regular communication, learning events, and shared best practices. Its steering committee and working groups focus on four key pillars.

To strengthen training of biosafety level 4 laboratory personnel by identifying and creating training opportunities. We help to build capacity and promote scientific collaboration within the Network through strategic personnel exchanges.

To promote scientific collaboration and learning within the Network, enhancing diagnostic capabilities, scientific collaborations & collective advice for decision makers.

To promote institutional cooperation and knowledge sharing within the network to allow efficient mechanisms for harmonized exchange of laboratory-based information, such as latest advances in infrastructure and research.

To strengthen laboratory preparedness and response to potential outbreaks through knowledge sharing activities, leading to a better understanding of the hazards, exposure and vulnerability.

The purpose of this working group is to discuss coordinated tactical communications strategies due to the growing prevalence of mis/disinformation and decreased public trust.
